Safety

There are a number of things to consider regarding safety:

Children

The children should be able to enjoy an unrestricted day and be free in their car free street.

Everyone should look out for all the children and ensure they are safe.

The bouncy castle should never be left unattended or used without an adult present. We will have a rota of 20 minute slots - if you have children, please volunteer for a slot or two.

Property

Having everybody in the street, will attract attention and might present a burglary opportunity.

Everyone is advised to keep their front and back doors and windows locked.

To save people having to nip in and out to use toilets, etc Brandon Tool Hire have offered to sponsor a portable festival style toilet. Say thank you next time you go past!

Cars

The street should be car free, but if a car is left in the area and needs to be moved it must be driven no faster than 5mph with hazard lights flashing, ideally with a person walking in front.
